The product is a floor mounted plenum made from galvanised sheet steel with a Ø140mm valve spigot located at a 90° angle from the Ø78mm (Ø75mm I/D) AirflexPro connection. A plenum is used to connect an AirflexPro duct to a valve. These plenums make life easy and can be cut down to the required size to fit in any floor. These products are a vital part of the AirflexPro range, which has clean and efficient air movement at its core.
Hygienic dust caps come fitted inside the spigots to protect the plenum from contamination while on site. These hygienic caps should only be removed once the valve is fitted. It is vitally important that the interior of the plenum remains free from dirt which is a common problem with products that don’t have hygienic caps. Combined with the safe lining inside the duct, mechanical locking to prevent leakage, AirflexPro can remain the ducting range that focuses on air quality and attention to detail.
