The declaration of Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) compliance does not apply to products supplied by Airflow Developments Ltd.

AThe United Kingdom withdrew from the European Union in 2021, since then UK REACH and EU REACH have operated independently of each other. Businesses based in the Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) must comply with UK REACH, while businesses in Europe (including Northern Ireland) must comply with EU REACH.

The UK agency responsible for the administration of UK REACH is the Health and Safety Execu-tive (HSE).

The EU agency responsible for the administration of EU REACH is the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA).

Under the guidance documents published by both the HSE and ECHA, Airflow Developments Ltd is classed as a ‘downstream user’ and as such are not classed as a manufacturer or importer of chemicals.

Airflow Developments Ltd only imports articles which may contain Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC), however, the substances contained within the articles do not exceed the SVHC thresholds of one tonne or more and do not need to be registered.

Therefore, Airflow Developments Ltd is exempt from any UK and EU REACH obligations.

Due diligence is carried out periodically with our supplier base to confirm compliance with REACH.
